🇺🇸 INTRODUCING FREE ESL CLASSES AT LANIER TECHNICAL COLLEGE 🇺🇸 North Atlanta - Georgia Area
Are you new to the U.S. and looking to improve your English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills for daily life and work? Lanier Technical College offers completely FREE ESL (English as a Second Language) classes, open to all adults who want to learn English.
💚 NO CITIZENSHIP OR GREEN CARD REQUIRED
You do not need to have U.S. citizenship or a Green Card to register for classes. As long as you have legal residency status in the United States (for example: valid visa, asylum status, protected status, or other government-recognized residency documents), you are eligible to participate.
🎉 The ESL program has classes for all levels:
Beginner: Learn the alphabet, simple vocabulary, and basic communication.
Intermediate: Improve listening and speaking skills, expand vocabulary, and master sentence structures.
Advanced: Practice study skills, prepare for better job opportunities, or pursue higher education.
In addition, students also learn computer skills, basic job skills, and participate in many other support programs.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION
(Varies by Lanier Technical College location, but typically includes:)
Photo ID: Passport, or government-issued ID.
Proof of Legal Residency in the U.S.: Work permit, I-797 approval notice, I-485 receipt notice, I-539 receipt notice... or other documents proving your legal residency status.
Proof of Current Residential Address (if requested): Utility bill, lease agreement or equivalent document, bank letter...
(The school will provide specific guidance if you are unsure which documents you need.)
